>About Us<

The Catawba Valley Basketmakers meet on the 4th Sunday of the month at Allen Frye Clubhouse, (between Conover & Hickory). We welcome those who have an interest in the art of basket making and have knowledge of and experience with basic basket making skills. Our active, welcoming weavers make all who visit want to come again. We meet for fellowship, sharing and weaving. We have had more than a half dozen professional teachers in our guild and we take advantage of their knowledge and and "skills.  We also schedule projects with visiting teachers.
